[Wooden Hearts]

Definitely good animation, probably one of the better 3D's on this site! The story is a little cliche but who cares, it's a good one.

I would totally reduce the polish/ reflectiveness on the wood objects, though. If it weren't for the grain of the wood, I might have thought it was brass. Otherwise the animation is pretty fluid, and the lighting is great.

[2 Guys & a Jigsaw Puzzle]

What?

I don't know what everyone is going on about. Look, the animation and voice acting was great, but what a boring plot. It's just two guys doing a jigsaw puzzle. And nothing more. Like, seriously. Couldn't you have made it a metaphor or something? Maybe injected some themes into your animation? I mean it's great for what it is, but there's just absolutely no deeper message in it. Where's the substance?

I'll give you a 10 for animation and voice acting but seriously, hire a writer or something.

There is one reason I came to see this movie.
One reason above them all.
First there was the lulz. Oh yes my friend, teh epic lulz. But can I be sustained by lulz? Can ANY man be sustained by lulz alone? Nay, tis not so, though we weep for it.
Could it have been the animation? The silky smooth touch of such simple design? The fluidity of endless flash artistry? These themselves are reasons enough, but still, they are not my god sent purpose for being here.
Perchance it could have been the acting. Yes, such glorious thespian voices, attuned to such levels of audible perfection, sung together as one chorus of ages, knowing full well the glory of their comedic perfection. Yet you would fall short of my mission again, dear friend.

No, above all else, the godly task was sent down to me to watch this movie for one reason.
One reason that has made the quest worth questing, the lives I have slain well put to rest. I have watched this flash, for indeed,

Good, but hiiiiiighly overrated.

This flash has been number 1 for a while now. Enough is enough. I keep seeing this and shaking my head. It seems all of newgrounds is impressed by good voice acting and "O Fortuna". Granted, Deven Mack did a very good job with this piece. But the flash does not deserve more than a 3 out of five, and I don't understand why people don't get that.

There is some very good animation in this piece, and good use of comedic timing. Every word is planned out to make a great impact with the viewer. But in the end, as epic as the sound is, THIS IS STILL JUST A VIDEO OF FANCY MOVING TEXT. Really! That's what this is. This entire movie of text. Granted, it moves in a fun way, but I would not give this movie more than 3 stars, because in actuality it is much more lacking in content than many other movies below it. Not to mention this took close to no creative thought on the author's part.

Think. You're voting all fives on a movie made up of "pretty" typography animation that was put to a voice acting track and the most overused "epic" song in all of history. You've even voted it higher than amazing movies like "Katan", which present an enthralling original story-line and smooth action-packed animation. Why that is, I don't understand.

Don't get me wrong, I very much appreciate this movie, and I like watching it just as much as anyone else. i find it funny and well animated and well executed. But not enough to make it the highest rated movie on newgrounds, not for a movie with close to no originality, which consists of animated (but none the less, only) words. Let's all stop getting swept up by epic music. Think about it, if there was no music, would you still rate it as highly as you are?

I actually never thought there would be a Shock 3! It was pretty amazingly done, man! I even enjoy the funny banter you always have throughout the Shock animations. In short, your animations are always polished and "fluid" (;D) and I appreciate your work.
