So here's the deal.
This game would get higher if it weren't for the consistent never ending bugs, and one that pissed me off to no end.
The storyline was interesting. Put me in a competitive mood. You even gave us some rivals, summoning back hated memories of Gary Oak.
The gameplay is different, so you don't feel like you're playing any old monster training combat game *COUGH* POKEMON *COUGH*
It can get a little boring, and I wish agility did more to make your fill-up bar faster.
You should make sure to spell check all your text, and maybe find a writer. I found some of it to be pretty bad.
What's the point of having all those activity points if your pet's mood always stays the same? I think it should vary depending on wins/losses, damage taken in battles, etc. I never lost a battle so I don't know if mood IS affected by losing.
Over all this game is pretty fun. I'd probably give it a 9 or maybe an 8 if I was in a grumpy mood. But then, there are the bugs.
It started off for me where every week was a new year. It was kind of annoying, but bearable. So it would look like it took me a lot longer to become master. I was the only one who saw it anyway. But then it just so happened that my Unihound which I had spent over 80 (game) weeks working on, who had full power, intelligence, and near full agility, suddenly turned into a Unihound with 1 power, 0 defense, 0 agility, and 1 intelligence. Boy, was that some internal anger right there. Somehow that 0 defense made me unkillable (another glitch), but the 1 power made every move about 1 damage. So if I were to play a single monster, it might last about an hour.
This otherwise pretty well done game is undone by a load of bugs. I would suggest more time spent debugging and testing your game, especially one as big as this, before you release it to the general public. I won't be playing anymore as I've just been frustrated away by it. It's a pretty well done game, minus all these bugs.
