Well, I wish I would have found this sooner. I needed a song for the MWC11 but I already found one that fits pretty good to the story I am working on ("Nefarious" by Rianor). I pmed him because I kinda need some changes. I will consider though, using one of your songs, but the thing is, it needs to fit the story and it needs to be finished within the week (deadline Feb 14). Quite frankly, and between you and me, I think I have a good chance of placing in the MWC (most of the best writers from the last MWC are judges, I judged the last one, but Coop wanted to alternate judges >.>)
Basically, my story is 3 parts that revolves around a diabetic. The music should be rock with some mellowness and minor sound. If you use guitar, it should start clean, then progress to distortion/effect. Maybe like Pink floyd's "One of these days". Anyway, he wakes up eating food wondering where he is. The music should be slow and suspenseful but picking tempo rather fast. There also should be a low bass playing. I don't know if you have seen Irreversible, but something like that. Eventually, his blood sugar level spikes and the music is fast and sort of electronic (this is way I like Rianor's song). He panics and shakes and convulses before knocking himself out.
Part two goes back to the evening before his attack and he is tutoring a cute girl from school. His blood sugar level is dropping bad. So the music is soft and mellow and romantic, in a minor key, or if you use major, have some discordance or something to make it sounds nice, but like it is falling apart. Eventually, the guy goes mad and attacks her, strangling her to death. The music is now fast and frantic but slowing down before it is just bass and cacophony maybe. It goes to part 3 which is when he wakes up and realizes this and he runs away. I'm not sure how it ends, but it will definitely be on a dark note. Check out my previous story, it is kinda like that.
Anyway, I'll post my story on my profile, there you can get a good feeling of what I am after. I am not done, but I can tell you it's turning out pretty damn good. I am positive I will place and I will give you the credit you deserve. However, the schedule is tight, and if you are up for it, let me know.
